COURT OUR LADY OF THE DESERT No. 2164

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is the largest national organization of Catholic women in the world. It was founded in 1903 by the Knights of Columbus as an opportunity for Catholic women to belong to a fraternal organization and to help them improve themselves spiritually, intellectually and socially. Catholic lay and religious women 18 years of age or older, who love and support the Church, and wish to participate in charitable and social activities, are welcome to join. The Junior Catholic Daughters (JCDA) is our National Youth Program for girls 6 - 17, which was founded in 1925.
Through combined giving, each Court and its members, have an opportunity to support these worthwhile programs:
SOAR - Supporting Our Aging Religious
Holy Cross Family Ministries - Devotion to Our Blessed Mother through the Rosary
Catholic Daughters of the Americas - Supports disaster areas
The Smile Train - Cleft Palate surgery for poor children
Habitat for Humanity - CDA helping to build hope, and build lives, one family at a time.
Our National Projects consist of:

Court Our Lady of the Desert,No. 2164 meetings are held on the
4th Tuesday of each month, September - May,
at All Saints Church, McKay Hall,
1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Our Prayer Shawl Ministry meets on
Mondays at All Saints Church, McKay Hall,
1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.,
Our Rosary Making Ministry meets on
Tuesdays at All Saints Church, McKay Hall,
1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
You do not have to be a member of the Catholic Daughters to attend our Ministries.
