The mission of All Saints Respect Life Ministry is to promote and deepen respect for human life from conception to natural death ; to engage in activities which will encourage our parish family’s awareness of protecting the sanctity of human life through education, prayer, outreach, and legislation; in particular to uphold the church’s teaching on the five non-negotiable issues of abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, human cloning and homosexual marriage.
Aims and goals of Respect Life Mission will help to build a greater respect for life through:
• Public Information and Education - to educate and alert parishioners on important issues concerning life.
• Prayer and Witness - to keep vigilant in prayer for pro-life issues.
• Outreach/Pastoral Care – to participate in various pro life activities on a diocesan level / supporting pregnancy crisis centers.
• Public Policy/Legislation – to keep the parish abreast on current legislative alerts and events.
Meetings are held in the Usher’s Room on the first Wednesday of each month after the 8:30am Mass.
