Anointing of the Sick

The sacrament of the anointing of the sick is administered to bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness. The Rite of Anointing tells us there is no need to wait until a person is at the point of death to receive the Sacrament. A person may receive this sacrament more than once during their illness or recovery. The Sacrament may be repeated if the sick person recovers after the anointing but becomes ill once again, or if, during the same illness, the person's condition becomes more serious

A parishioner or family member may request the sacrament through the parish office; 480-985-7655. Our receptionists will take the necessary information and contact a priest. If calling the office after 4:00pm or on weekends, you will be directed to the after hours emergency instructions, and a priest will return your call.
