Reconciliation
The sacrament of Reconciliation (Penance or Confession) allows the faithful, to obtain, through God's mercy, pardon for having offended Him.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on Saturdays from 2:00pm -3:30pm, except on Holy Saturday. Communal Penance Services are scheduled during Advent and Lent.
Preparation for First Reconciliation normally begins for those who are baptized Catholic and seven years of age or above.
Grade School…
Preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation for baptized children in second grade through grade five is in addition to regular attendance at the weekly faith formation session or Catholic school. It is expected that the family is participating at one of the weekend Masses. Contact the parish offcie at 480-985-7655 for information or to register.
Jr. High/High School
Preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered the first Tuesday after Catechetical Sunday thru Easter. This is for Junior High and High School students 11 to 18 years of age. It is expected that the family is participating in the weekly Sunday Mass, and will participate in a retreat in addition to the regular Tuesday class from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Please call the parish office.
